A small white dome hummed awake. Bonk. His wheels spun. The rug wrinkled. Dizzy, dragging one long thread. A crumb, golden as treasure. "The biggest dust in the world." Between him and glory slept the dog. The ring pulsed red. He froze, eyes squeezed shut. Barki lunged. Slurp. Barki's little light bloomed green. "Mission complete." Courage is crossing one rug at a time.
